Throughout his childhood, Krug grew up observing from afar the shadow of the man he admired the most: his father. Captain of the guard of a small coastal town, his career was abruptly interrupted by the attack of a pirate nicknamed "The Kraken" who took his life.
Destroyed and seriously injured during the attack, he was rescued by a priest of Bahamut who took him under his wing in the Platinum Order.
After years of training, he was entrusted with the heavy task of apprehending the pirate responsible for his misfortune. Torn between justice and his desire for revenge, Krug took to the road, his target having disappeared from the seas for years.
